Award-Winning Food & Drink Festival Coming to Nailsea
A free to attend food and drink festival is coming to Nailsea for the first time in 2019.
Hosted by eat:Festivals, organisers of multi award-winning food and drink festivals in Somerset, eat:Nailsea takes place on Saturday 5th October 2019 in Crown Glass Shopping Centre.
It’s a non-profit festival that aims to showcase the quality of locally produced goods, bringing a range of producers and products from the surrounding area into one place. Traders selling artisan produce like bread, preserves, cheeses, pies, sauces, fresh meat and bottled spirits will be in attendance, as will businesses selling street food with flavours from around the world using local ingredients.
Not only will visitors be able to purchase the variety of produce on offer, but they’ll also be able to enjoy plenty of free talks, cooking classes, competitions, family entertainment, and even have the opportunity to get up close and personal with farm animals throughout the day!
eat:Festivals have been arranging food and drink festivals since 2012 in areas such as Weston-super-Mare, Portishead, Burnham and Taunton, and have become incredibly popular, often attracting between 15,000 and 25,000 (sometimes more) at each event.
