CANCELLED: Nailsea and Backwell Beer & Cider Festival Announce Cancellation of the 2020 Event
It is a sad day for many in Nailsea and Backwell with the official announcement that the Beer and Cider Festival will not go ahead this year.
In light of the Coronavirus pandemic that is currently putting most events on hold in the UK, this decision does not come as a surprise.
For many residents, the Beer and Cider Festival is the highlight of the summer festivities in Nailsea and a way for the community to come together and raise money for the Children’s Hospice South West.
The announcement was made via their official social media page today:
It is with a very heavy heart and everyone’s safety in mind, that we have had to make the decision to cancel this year’s Beer & Cider Festival.
Unfortunately, the situation with Covid-19 has not improved enough for us to continue with the event.
We would like to extend our apologies to Children’s Hospice South West who were our nominated charity this year. If you would still like to make a donation to Children’s Hospice South West then please follow the link below.
We look forward to seeing you all again next year for an even bigger and better Nailsea & Backwell Beer & Cider Festival.
