Raising Profiles in the Community

The Community Market runs from 9.00 am -1.30pm on the third Saturday of the month.

The Community Market in Somerset Square was launched in September 2013 and provides a great community opportunity for local people to try a bit of market selling. It’s open to individuals, charity groups or organisations and small businesses, to either sell their produce, to promote their cause, raise funds and their profile. It also gives the opportunity to local businesses wanting to test the market and raise awareness.

Apply for a stall or find out more!

Applicants have to apply to the Nailsea Town Council Market Committee and will be allowed to attend between 3 and 6 times a year depending on which category they come under. The Community Market benefits from being part of Nailsea’s Farmers’ and Craft market day, which is held on the third Saturday of every month.

Sellers can either pay a fee on the day or pay in advance with a slight reduction. The fee is a contribution to market running costs. Sellers will be situated under a large canopy along with other stallholders and a table will be provided.
