As well as activities you can find for yourself, there are some local Easter events you can partake in.

Just up the road at Tyntesfield, they’re hosting an Easter Adventure where you can follow eggs on a trail map and engage in fun & games at several activity stations. A chocolate egg is waiting for you at the end, and your £3.50 entry gets you a trail sheet, bunny ears, and your prize – a perfect choice to keep the little ones entertained as you explore this historic local spot.

When is Easter in 2025?

This year, Easter Sunday is on April 20th. It’s running a little late this year, meaning spring will be well underway by the time it rolls around. This means warmer weather and more nature in bloom, hopefully serving as the perfect canvas for some outdoor events and activities.
