Family show for Christmas in Nailsea

Nailsea families can pop into the town’s own theatre this year for a Christmas show that kids will love.

The Little Theatre in Union Street is hosting a one-night-only performance of ‘The Snow Queen’ on Saturday 16 December.

The show – filled with live music and puppetry – will be presented by Folksy Theatre, a rural touring company which travels the UK with top-quality productions.

The Snow Queen

In ‘The Snow Queen’ splinters from a magic mirror get into Kai’s heart and eyes. He becomes cruel and no longer cares about his best friend, Gerda.

Kai is taken by the Snow Queen and a heartbroken Gerda sets out on a journey to save her friend, meeting many fantastic characters along the way.

Will Gerda be able to save Kai?

Tickets for the Little Theatre staging, which starts at 7pm, are available on 0777 298 1037 at £12 for adults and £8 for children.
