FREE Swimming and Soft Play this summer for kids

Nailsea Town Council is funding a number of FREE places for children’s activities over the summer holidays from the Sunday 28 July to Friday 30 August for Nailsea Residents.

No 65 High Street is open Mon-Thurs 9.30 -4pm and Friday 9.30 -1pm

Backwell – Swimming sessions
Price: £3.95 per child (1 child per member is free)
Age: 4 – 15 yrs. 0-3-year olds are free
Swim session times: Times change on a weekly basis so residents would need to check Backwell Leisure Centre website.

There are some restrictions on when vouchers could be used: General swim in the main pool (under 8’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times). Family swim in the teaching pool (must be accompanied by an adult in the water). No prebooking required. Please check with Backwell Leisure Centre when you can use your Swimming vouchers before traveling to the swimming pool.

FAQS

1. How will the people book the activities for their children?
• Numbered Vouchers will be picked up in person from No 65 High Street.

2. There are limited vouchers so its first come first serve.

3. Eligibility:
• Vouchers for use by residents of Nailsea only who do not have a membership at either Scotch Horn or Backwell
• A maximum of 2 vouchers per family
• Proof of address required when collecting the voucher
• There will be a “must be redeemed by” date so they have to be used by this date.
• A lot of swimming pools limit the number of children to adult ratios e.g. no more than 2 children per adult or one-to-one for the under 5’s. Please check with the centre to find out the policy

4. When do the vouchers start?
• Monday 28th July to Friday 30th August (5 weeks) or until the limited numbered vouchers run out.

Terms and conditions for Backwell Leisure centre swimming voucher

1. The voucher can only be used at the Backwell Leisure Centre, Farleigh Road, Bristol BS48 3PB . Please check with the centre, when you can use this
ticket. This voucher will allow 1 child who is aged between 4-15yrs to go in free. Children who are 0-3 yrs go in free.
2. This voucher can be used for a ‘general swim session’ in the main pool or a ‘family swim session’ in the teaching pool.
3. If you are using this ticket for a child who is under the age of 8, they must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
4. For ‘family swims’ an adult must be present with their children at all times in the teaching pool.
5.This voucher has no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Please make sure that your voucher is brought with you, when you are hoping to redeem it. This ticket will expire on 30/08/2024.
Nailsea Town Council and the Backwell Leisure Centre are not liable for the loss and/or damage of this voucher. These vouchers cannot be replaced.

Terms and conditions for Scotch Horn Soft Play voucher

This voucher can only be used at the Scotch Horn, Brockway, Nailsea, Bristol, BS48 1BZ. This voucher will allow free entry to 1 Child who is under 5
This voucher can only be used for a soft play session. An adult must be present at all times, with the child.
This voucher has no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
