Have YOUR say on Hannah More Play Park’s Improvements
Nailsea Town Council are planning for improvements to be made to the Play Park facilities on Hannah More Road, with the introduction of a range of equipment to improve inclusivity and to ensure it also caters for our younger members of the Community. We would love to hear from you on what we are planning because it will involve:
Installing an active sensory trail. This consists of an activity trail and sensory stations.
Renovating existing play equipment (slides and swings) where possible and installing new play equipment such as a role play area, telephone tubes and a new climbing frame for younger children
But please note: all feedback must have been given by the 15th February 2025!
Please visit us at Number 65 High Street, Nailsea, BS484NG to have a look at our indoor display board. There’s even an option for children to take part in giving feedback! Don’t have time? You can even send us an email on enquiries@nailseatowncouncil.gov.uk after taking a look at a brief overview of the plans! The link can be found below!
Cllr. Claire Taylor, who proposed the project, said that “the aim of this project is to secure a safe area for the younger residents of Nailsea to explore, play and socialise. It also allows them to practice and hone their balance and co-ordination skills. Hannah More Park is a great space and this project offers us the opportunity to enhance what we already have for generations to come by providing a variety of new play equipment and renovating existing structures. I’m excited to share our ideas, so please pop in to no.65 to give feedback on the plans and also to let us know what play equipment you would like to see.”
