Lots of laughs are in store at Nailsea Little Theatre’s first play for 2020.
The company is presenting ‘People’, a mischievous comedy by national treasure Alan Bennett, one of the country’s favourite contemporary playwrights.
Director Vicki Hyde said: ‘Everyone here’s having a great time putting the show together – lovely costumes, a great set and, of course, Bennett’s usual gallery of super characters on stage.
‘We all hope our audiences enjoy the mix as much as we are.’
In ‘People’ – suitable for an adult audience only – Bennett gives his own provocative view of the state of the country (and takes a thought-provoking look at the National Trust!).
It’s on stage at the Little Theatre’s Union Street home from Monday 3 to Saturday 8 February.
Tickets at £10 are available on 0777 298 1037.
