Nailsea Bowls Club Open Day

Nailsea Bowls Club is hosting an open day for newcomers to give the game a try on Saturday 22nd August.

Taking place on the green at Mizzymead Recreation Centre & Club from 12 – 4pm, the club is offering people of all ages and abilities the chance to attend a taster session and play lawn bowls for free.

Nailsea Bowls Club is a friendly and competitive club providing the local community with the opportunity to play the sport at outstanding facilities. As well as having an outdoor green, the club also have their own full-sized indoor facility to enable all-year round play.

From beginners to experienced league and county players, the session is open to people of all levels – club members and qualified coaches will be in attendance to help and explain how to bowl. Children are welcome too but should be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The taster event is completely free and all equipment will be provided. However, participants are asked to wear flat soled sports shoes and a face mask.
