Nailsea Community Skate Park Festival Preview

The 16th Nailsea Community Skate Park Festival at Millennium Park on Saturday 9th June 2018, 1pm 5pm, is set to be a fantastic day of entertainment.

Plenty of local skaters and riders will be showcasing their talent on the recently built skate park, and there will also be an opportunity for all who attend to enjoy face painting, a bouncy castle, food and drink, and much more!

Avon and Somerset Police will be bringing the popular football cage and multi-agency bus (otherwise known as Mavis) to the event, and will be launching the ‘Nailsea Reward Scheme’ – an initiative looking to encourage youngsters to gain stamps for carrying out positive deeds within the community.

The team running the festival are keen to highlight what goes on in Nailsea and the surrounding area, and are offering a stall for local groups to demonstrate what they do. Anyone interested in a stall should contact nailseaskatefest@gmail.com.

Registration for competition entrants open at midday (please note that there will be a small entry fee), and the festival gets underway at 1:30pm. Anyone who requires an entry form to be signed in advance should contact nailseaskatefest@gmail.com.
