Nailsea Pubs & Restaurants Offering Takeaway During National Lockdown
Following the announcement on 31st October, the whole of England has now entered a four-week lockdown and some pubs and restaurants in Nailsea are offering takeaway options during this period.
This short guide provides a brief summary of what some local pubs and restaurants are offering.
All information correct at time of writing (10th November 2020).
The Old Farmhouse
The Old Farmhouse is continuing to operate its food delivery service.
A range of pub classics can be ordered, including pizzas, burgers, pies, lasagne and more. Starters, puddings and kids’ meals are also available.
Roast dinners can be delivered or collected on Sundays. Options include a nut roast, roast pork, lamb, turkey and beef, all of which come with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, carrots and more.
Delivery areas covered include Nailsea, Backwell, Tickenham, Failand and Flax Bourton. There is a minimum order of £10 per delivery. Orders can be booked and paid for online.
The Old Farmhouse is closed on Mondays but open all other days of the week.

The Moorend Spout
The Moorend Spout remains open for collection and delivery.
A variety of options are available on the menu, including Hunter’s Chicken, Chilli Con Carne, Gammon Steak, Mixed Bean Chilli and the Mighty Moorend Burger. Children’s meals are also available.
Their Sunday takeaway service includes beef, pork, chicken, lamb and a nut roast. Puddings can also be ordered.
Orders can be placed by calling The Moorend Spout and payment will be taken over the phone. You will then be provided with a time to pick up your order. Delivery is limited to those who are shielding or isolating.
Takeaway is available and phone lines are open Wednesday – Sunday.

Cafe 119
Cafe 119 remains open for takeaways and collections.
From hot drinks, smoothies and milkshakes to bakery treats, sandwiches, panninis and breakfast, a whole host of food and drink is on offer.
Orders can be placed either at the cafe or by phone. A delivery service will be available soon.
The cafe is open Monday – Saturday.

Greens
Greens is also remaining open for takeaways.
An array of salads, sandwiches, pasties and sausage rolls as well as teacakes, coffees, teas and hot chocolate can be purchased. Gluten free and vegan options are available.
Orders can be placed in the shop, which is open Monday – Friday.

Nailsea MicroPub
Nailsea MicroPub offer collection and delivery services.
A variety of unique ales and ciders are on sale. Offering changes regularly with new additions which can be pre-ordered.
Orders can be placed over the phone, email or Facebook messenger. Deliveries take place after 4pm daily.

Takeaways
Plenty of takeaway restaurants are still open and operating. This includes Noggin’s Old Fish Bar, Nailsea Fish Bar, Domino’s, The Great Wall, New Garden Chinese, Kebab Kitchen and India Cottage.
