North Somerset Council’s Adopt a Street Scheme
North Somerset Council are proud to support adopt a street volunteers, who help keep their communities and environments free from litter.
Under the scheme you choose the street you’d like to ‘adopt’ and North Somerset Council provide you with the litter picking equipment and safety information you need.
North Somerset Council recognise the valuable work that volunteers across North Somerset are already doing to help keep the environment litter free. North Somerset Council want ‘adopt a street’ to complement and enhance the great work that’s already happening – we all have a responsibility to keep North Somerset clean and together we can all make a difference.
If you’d like to apply to become volunteer, or find out more, please download the adopt a street application form here.
The council would be grateful if you could let them know how often you litter pick your adopted street(s) and how much you collect by completing a litter log.
You can download and save the log here, then fill it in as you go along and email it to the council at adopt-a-street@n-somerset.gov.uk at the end of each month.
