Priority Football are offering 30 days of safe and socially distanced football for children in reception – year 7 with their popular Summer Holiday Football Camps.
Taking place every weekday from Monday 20th July – Friday 28th August at Grove Sports Centre, the exciting and engaging holiday camps are open to boys and girls of all abilities.
Each day is full of fun and challenging games, ranging from unique “Drills of the Day” to the Priority Football World Cup. There are even multiple prizes to be won throughout the camp, and every child who attends leaves with a medal and certificate to remember the experience.
All camps are delivered by professional, DBS checked coaches.
All sessions follow guidelines set out by the government and Football Association (FA) in relation to Covid-19 to ensure that the camps are as safe as possible. Covid-19 measures implemented at the holiday camps include –
Group sizes – children will be split into groups of 5 with 1 coach. There will also only be a maximum of 30 children on site to minimise risk of spreading infection.
Social distancing – all games are designed to maintain 2m social distancing and avoid face to face play. There will be clearly marked areas to ensure younger children understand the playing area.
Equipment – minimal equipment will be used throughout the camps. All equipment will be cleaned and sterilised throughout the day.
Venue details – the camps all take place at Grove Sports Centre, a large, fully enclosed outdoor venue. There are also marquees to provide shelter from rain and sun/heat.
Hygiene – hand sanitiser is provided for the children and coaches to use. Lunch areas (marquees) and bathrooms will also be cleaned throughout the day.
Priority Football will inform parents of any changes to their measures based on updates to the government and FA guidelines.
