Pubs and Gyms Reopening In Nailsea from Monday 12th April
From Monday 12th April, pubs and restaurants can serve food and drinks to customers dining outside. Pubs, gyms, personal care businesses, and non-essential shops in Nailsea will be reopening from this date.

Following the ‘Rule of Six’ and the removal of the ‘Stay At Home’ message on the 29th March, the next stage out of lockdown outlined by the roadmap is on the 12th April.
From Monday:
- Pubs and hospitality will be allowed to serve outdoors
- Hairdressers, barbers, and other personal care businesses will reopen
- Indoor gyms and leisure centres will reopen
- Non-essential shops will reopen
- Holidays within England to self-contained accommodation are allowed
- Animal attractions (zoos) will reopen
Restrictions apply, such as mask wearing indoors and social distancing. People who can work from home should continue to. All indoor activities should be carried out alone or with members of your household or bubble. The rule of six or two households should be observed for outdoor activities.

Can I get a haircut in Nailsea?
Yes! Hairdressers and barbers around Nailsea are preparing to reopen for Monday. For some, you should wait to be contacted to book an appointment as they are working through long client lists.
If you are unsure check out the website, social media or shop windows of your hairdresser/barber to find out how to get a haircut. Other personal care businesses such as nail salons will also be able to reopen from Monday.
Can I go to the gym in Nailsea?
Yes! From Monday 12th April, gyms and leisure centres will be able to reopen their indoor facilities.
Following its recent refurbishment, Scotch Horn Leisure Centre will be reopening on Monday. Booking is essential. Check out their Facebook page for information and updates.

Which Pubs Will Open In Nailsea and When?
Pubs and hospitality can begin to serve outdoors from Monday. Here are the pubs in Nailsea reopening outdoor serving and when.
The Old Farmhouse
The Old Farmhouse in Trendlewood will be reopening Thursday 15th April from 12pm for outdoor service. Tables are on a first come basis and will not be bookable. They currently offer a takeaway service for food.
They will open Thursday-Sunday each week from 12pm including bank holidays. Closing times will vary depending on weather/custom.

Ring O’Bells
Ring O’Bells will be reopening on Thursday 15th April for outdoor service. Tables are not bookable. They have over 50 benches and tables available, some under cover.

Nailsea MicroPub
Nailsea MicroPub will be reopening on Monday 12th April for outdoor service and takeaways. Tables are not bookable.
They will open Monday 12th – Friday 16th from 3pm-9pm. On Saturday 17th they will open 10am-9pm. They will be closed on Sundays. Normal opening hours will then be in place (Tuesday – Saturday, 3pm-9pm).

Wetherspoons – The Glassmaker
The Glassmaker will be reopening for outdoor service next week. Tables will not be bookable.
They will open Sundays to Thursdays 9am-9pm, and Fridays to Saturdays 9am-10pm. Food service will be available from 9am-8pm seven days a week. All information from this Bristol Post article.

Grove Social Club will be reopening on Friday 16th for outdoor service. Tables are not bookable.

The Moorend Spout
The Moorend Spout is not planning to open on Monday. Instead, they will reopen at some time in the future. They are continuing to provide their takeaway food service.
