The Christmas season has arrived, and windows throughout Nailsea are going to be decked out accordingly! Pick up your map from 65 High Street and take the whole family on a wintery walking tour. If you complete the trail, you’ll receive a special festive prize!

Christmas Events at Tyntesfield

The National Trust are putting on a range of festive events throughout December, including a series of spectacular concerts in the chapel and Christmas horse and carriage rides. If you feel like getting creative, there are also lino printing workshops where you can learn how to make your own Christmas cards and gift wrap. You can even learn how to make a seasonal wreath using foliage gathered from the Tyntesfield estate.

Bach Christmas Oratorio

Nailsea Choral Society have joined with distinguished guest soloists and the Charivari Agréable Baroque Orchestra to bring us a thrilling performance of Bach’s Christmas Oratorio. The perfect way to celebrate the festive season, this is not one to be missed!
Christmas Concert
10th December @ 5:00, Backwell WI Hall
BRACE, a dementia research charity, is putting on a family friendly Christmas concert to raise some much needed funds. Enjoy performances from the Evergreen Chorus, Acorns Folk group, and the Ladye Bay handbell ringers. There’s also a raffle, BRACE Christmas cards for sale, mulled wine, and plenty of mince pies!
Vee Dub Christmas Cruz

This December, VW owners are gathering in Nailsea to kick off their Christmas cruise. Decked out in tinsel and fairy lights, over 100 vehicles will travel from Nailsea to Clevedon to Portishead – all in the hope of celebrating the VW, and raising invaluable funds for Bristol Children’s Hospital.

The Folksy Theatre Company are returning to the Little Theatre for an adaptation of Dickens’ classic tale of festive hope and redemption. With live music, puppetry, and multimedia, this is sure to be a magical Christmas show, perfect for the whole family!
Christmas Craft Morning

For two mornings in December, 65 High Street is hosting a special children’s Christmas craft morning. Come along with the family and enjoy a mindful moment or two, and create something beautiful to take home. Nailsea Christmas Farmers’ Market

On the third Saturday in December, the high street will be shut to vehicles for a vibrant celebration of local produce, plants, and artisan makes including pottery, and ceramics. Come along and sample some festive food and drink while you shop for unique, handmade gifts and get ready for the big day.
Johnny Coppin: All on a Winter’s Night

Johnny Coppin – a celebrated singer/songwriter and member of Decameron – is bringing his special Christmas show to Nailsea as part of its 25th Anniversary Tour. A rich mix of traditional carols, new songs, stories, folklore and superstitions, this is the perfect way to warm your soul on a cold winter night!
