1st Nailsea Beavers and Cubs enjoy tending to winter planters

The Nailsea in Bloom team were delighted to have the help of 1st Nailsea Beavers and Cubs in preparing the new seasonal planters and winter garden at the Scout and Guide Activity Training Centre in Nailsea.
Wendy Mobbs, who has been a member of Nailsea in Bloom for over 10 years, said ’The Cubs and Beavers had a wonderful time. They thoroughly enjoyed planting the seasonal flowers at the Guide and Scout activity centre. It was so lovely to work with the children enjoying nature on a stunning warm October evening.’
She continued ‘Nailsea in Bloom are busy preparing new seasonal planters and winter garden beds around Nailsea and we are seeking new volunteers. Joining us is a great opportunity for you to make new friends and enjoy gardening with other like-minded sociable people.
