1st Nailsea Scouts
Community Group
1st Nailsea Scouts offers scouting to girls and boys aged 5 ¾ to 14yrs of age covering a great variety of indoor and out door activities.
2467 Nailsea Squadron Air Cadets
Air cadets club
Greenfield Crescent Playing Fields, Nailsea, BS48 1HW
Youth organisation for boys and girls from year 8 to 20 years. The air cadets offers a range of activities from flying, gliding, shooting, sports, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, first aid, adventure training and fieldcraft with lots more in between! We meet on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7-9:30pm.
Better Nailsea
Town enhancement group

Better Nailsea was set up in 2016 to develop a range of initiatives to enhance the town of Nailsea including: planning a recycling programme, a naturalist garden to encourage diverse wildlife, monthly litter picks and helped to plan a student sculpture contest. A further project of educating the public through an ongoing recycling programme which resulted in sponsorship from North Somerset Council of £2,500. Regular litter picks take place on the second Saturday and fourth Wednesday of every month – meet 10am – 12pm at 65 High Street, Nailsea. Meetings are held 12pm to 2pm on dates to be advised.

Yoga unblocks the knots of physical and mental energy and increases our sense of wellbeing, giving us new vitality, health and increased activity. So whether you are looking for physical or mental strength, our classes are ideal. Our Relax and Restore class on Sunday evenings, offers deep relaxation to get you ready for the week ahead.
Experienced teacher, Jane Sabherwal, works closely with students ensuring they get the most our of their yoga sessions.
Breathing Space Yoga is suitable for all ages and abilities. Classes are held in Nailsea and Backwell.
Mondays = Kundalini Yoga at 9.30am
= Meditation at 8pm
Tuesdays = Beginners/Intermediates 7.30 – 9pm
Fridays = Intermediates at 9.30am
Sundays = Restore and Relax 7.30 pm
Also available: Pregnancy classes, Pranayama and Advanced Pranayama, Lunchtime Yoga sessions for businesses or personal 1:1 sessions.

The Friends of Trendlewood Park are a voluntary group that manage Trendlewood Community Park in partnership with North Somerset Council. They meet on the 1st Sunday and 3rd Tuesday of each month, 10am – 1pm at The Old Farmhouse.

We are keen to encourage those individuals who are not currently exercising or are unable to do anything too physically challenging. Walks will be both 30 and 60 minutes in length.

Moorend Spout nature reserve is located off Pound Lane to the north of Nailsea. It is well known for its natural beauty and is a particularly valuable wildlife. Regular workdays are held on the first Saturday of each month at 10am.

Our club members live in those same communities and we are actively seeking women and men to join us. We meet formally to discuss our programme of events and to make decisions on donations every other month. In between we meet to carry out those events and to meet socially with the objective of having fun and enjoying ourselves !

Projects undertaken by the group are of benefit to individuals, other groups and the broader community. We run a Repair Cafe where the public can bring along items for repair, sharpening, etc. We have a qualified PAT tester for electrical items

Come and discover all the health benefits of singing together! A well-being choir with a focus on health and wholeness. The songs are learned by repetition, so no music reading is required and there are auditions. We are a completely accessible choir – amateurs welcome!
