Two local bands from North Somerset are holding a musical event on 8th February to raise money and awareness for the Williams Syndrome Foundation which supports people with the syndrome and their families/loved ones.
Williams Syndrome is a rare and randomly occurring genetic disorder which affects around 1 in 18,000 people. It causes physical, cardiac and mental health problems, sensory, behavioural, social and processing issues and learning disabilities. Lack of awareness often leads to lack of infant diagnosis.
The event invites local residents to enjoy a fun-filled evening, including a raffle with prizes donated by the Ring o’Bells – the venue. With help from supporters, Raising Cain and Corvus are hoping to raise £100s through the evening.
Entry is £5 on the door. Come along to Ring o’Bells for a fun-filled night for a good cause!
