    Please give details of ALL products to be sold at the markets and where they are produced, including origin of ingredients (at least 10% must be local). You will only be permitted to sell products listed here. If you change your trade or develop new lines, you will need to fill out a new application form. Please note that no bought-in produce may be resold without further processing.
  • Remember to include details of source, e.g. where flour is bought from AND where it is sourced from (such as bought from mill in Bristol, sourced from all over the world).
  • To qualify to sell at a Farmers’ Market, produce must be sold by the producer, a family member or by a member of staff directly involved in the production of goods on sale. Who will be attending the markets to sell your produce?
  • NB: you are responsible for the conduct of anyone selling at your stall, antisocial behaviour will jeopardise the continued presence of your business at the market
  • Public Liability Damage
    Traders are expected to insure themselves to cover public liability damage, fire & theft and must assume full responsibility for all their stands, goods and the safety of their electrical equipment. All electrical equipment should hold a current Portable Appliance Electrical Certificate. A copy of your Public (minimum £5 million), Product and Employee Liability Insurance, covering Street Trading Activity must accompany this application form. Please give the name of the insurance company that provides your Public, Product and Employee Liability Insurance, the policy number and expiry date

  • Note: Further licence/certificates may be required and displayed at the stalls for the selling of game (Game Licence), prepared food (Food and Hygiene Certificate) and the selling of alcohol etc. Copies should be supplied with this application.

    Declaration: The market committee on behalf of Nailsea Town Council are responsible for screening each potential vendor for their suitability at the market. They have the right to suspend any producer who is found not to be complying with the conditions of the Farmers’ Market. Your use of the stall shall at all times and in all respects be at your own risk to the extent that Nailsea Town Council and Nailsea Trustee Company Ltd shall not be liable for any damage/injury or loss whatsoever caused or suffered by you or your employee or any other persons save as provided by law or statute.
