1 December, 4pm -8pm – Ice Queen to enchant audiences, singing festive hits, at Nailsea Community Christmas Fayre

Nailsea Town Council are over-the-moon to announce a Nailsea Community Christmas Fayre to be held in the Town centre and High Street on Friday 1 December 2023 from 4pm to 8pm.

Nailsea Community Fayre is all about bringing the community together in festive cheer, promoting the lovely town of Nailsea whilst also supporting independent businesses, the amazing groups and organisations and of course, warmly welcoming visitors. A must for all the family and your friends! There will be something to suit all ages, the perfect way to start the countdown to Christmas, full of festive delights!

You’ll be able to pick up a Christmas gift and stocking filler or two from local businesses and craftspeople whilst enjoying live entertainment. Hot food and drink stands will be available to keep you warm and toasty whilst there will plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy.

Kids activities will include FREE Christmas balloon modelling, FREE face painting, a giant stilt walking Christmas tree, live animals and most excitingly, the Ice Queen herself will be making an appearance singing her popular seasonal hits. Nailsea Lions will also be bringing along father Christmas on his sleigh, whilst he takes a well-earned rest from preparing for the festive season with his elves.

Jess Brown, Community Wellbeing Officer, and organiser of the Nailsea Community Christmas Fayre, on behalf of Nailsea Town Council, says ‘I am so excited and proud to be organising the Nailsea Community Christmas Fayre. It’s a great opportunity to bring the community together to celebrate Christmas whilst supporting the local traders Christmas business and helping local groups to fundraise.’

She continued ‘We are also asking that all budding Christmas tree fans to create some of your delightful, weather proof, Christmas tree decorations to decorate the community Christmas Tree as the evening will include the community Christmas tree switch on. Please deliver these Christmas tree decorations with your name and contact details to No 65 High Street by 20 November 2023. The most original decoration will receive a prize of £10 voucher to be spent at the Community Christmas Fayre.’
