Get Free Bicycle Maintenance & Advice at Millennium Park
A Bicycle Maintenance & Advice Day is taking place on Saturday 12th September, Millennium Park, 10am – 4pm.
In partnership with North Somerset Council, Life Cycle UK, Travelwest and Wesport, the purpose of the initiative is to promote cycling and active travel to the residents of Nailsea.
Plenty is on offer; including free Dr Bike safety checks, bike maintenance sessions, Travelwest Roadshow guidance, bike registration and general advice on all things cycling.
Free Dr Bike Safety Checks
Free 30-minute Dr Bike safety check sessions are available for those who would like their bikes checked over to ensure they are safe to ride. Pre-booking is required.

Bike Maintenance Sessions
Short taster sessions on how to look after your bike’s gears and brakes as well as repair punctures are available. Pre-booking is required.

Travelwest Roadshow
The Travelwest Roadshow team will be available to chat to throughout the day. They will be on hand to give out maps and support personalised travel planning, providing guidance and signposting on local routes and active travel.
Bike Registration
The Police will also be present and will be offering the bike registration scheme. Pre-booking isn’t required, just turn up on the day and within a couple of minutes your bike will be registered on the national database to help with recovery if it ever gets stolen.
