Call out for your Christmas creativity

Nailsea Town Council launches a Christmas Bauble competition for the Community Christmas tree

Enid Steel, an enthusiastic and creative young person of Nailsea, came up with a fantastic idea endorsed and supported by Nailsea Town Council. Her idea is for a Christmas tree where the community can donate their own handmade baubles to decorate it.

To support this Nailsea Town Council have launched a competition for all ages for the best Christmas Tree Bauble. All the Baubles will be displayed on the Christmas tree on the village green over the festive period with the winner of the competition receiving a voucher for £10. Enid enthusiastically produced a wonderful poster to accompany her brilliant idea which will be displayed on social media and around the town.

To enter the competition please deliver your lovely, weather proof, beautifully designed Christmas Bauble to No 65 High Street by the 20th November, for the attention of Trudy Hollow, Manager of No 65. Please attach your name and contact details to your Bauble. The competition will be judged in the week commencing 20 November and the winner announced at the end of that week. The Baubles will then be displayed on Christmas tree on the Village Green.

Trudy, Manager of No 65 says ‘We are really looking forward to receiving your Christmas baubles and displaying the creativity of Nailsea residents, young and old on the Christmas tree. This tree will showcase your creativity on the Village Green and will make a lovely Christmas addition to the Town Centre illuminations. ‘
