Eat Festival returns to Nailsea on Saturday 28 October 2023

A popular food and drink festival will return to Nailsea on Saturday 28 October, after almost a year’s absence. eat:Nailsea will cover all of Crown Glass Shopping Centre – from Wetherspoons to Waitrose – and along the High Street up to the Link Road. Roads will be closed from 7am-7pm to allow for the safe set up and take down of the festival, which will trade from 10am-4pm.

Town clerk, Jo Duffy, said: “We are delighted to see the return of eat:Nailsea. Nailsea Town Councillors listened to the people and businesses of Nailsea who were disappointed after the cessation of the Nailsea festivals at the end of 2022. These festivals are a positive for the town drawing people to visit and sample the delights of Nailsea, encouraging repeat visits, and business for all town centre traders .”

Eat festivals are free to attend, family-friendly, accessible day-long events held in town centres throughout the West Country showcasing local producers alongside workshops, live music, street entertainment and competitions.

Bev Milner Simonds said: “We are delighted to be coming back to Nailsea for a mega-edition of eat:Nailsea when we expect to have more 100 local food and drink producers, music, street food and entertainment.”
