Shop safely this weekend at the Farmers’ Market

The Farmers’ Market returns to Nailsea High Street this Saturday (20 March) with an array of local food and drink producers. The organisers are taking measures to keep visitors safe with well-managed sanitizer stations and a clear queuing system to maintain social distancing.

Residents will be able to enjoy alfresco shopping on Saturday 20 March, 9am-1pm, as the market returns this weekend from a Winter break. Organisers are encouraging shoppers to support the local farming community and independent small food businesses by attending the market, whilst maintaining social distancing and wearing face coverings.

Somerset Farmers’ Markets are hugely popular monthly events that have been showcasing the best of Somerset farmers’ produce for over 20 years. The market takes place in Nailsea High Street every third Saturday of the month.

This months’ market will feature delicious and exciting produce from 28 local traders, including:

Craft traders will not be appearing at this month’s market to stay in line with the government Road Map, but will be returning for the April market.

Nailsea Cider, Nailsea Country Markets, Jane’s Flower Pots, Hall & Lench Poultry Farm, Real Pork, Barley Wood Veg, Go Wild Preserves, Leafy Greens, Nutts Scotch Eggs, Wicked Chilli Pill, White Gate Apple Juice, Winnie’s Bakery, Seafoods, Somerset Charcuterie, Chew Valley Gin, Times Past Cheese Dairy, Gardens of Japan, Wesley Cottage Bees, Nut Tree Farm, Somerset Cheese Company, Fussels, The Great Cake Company, Oven to You, Bath Soft Cheese, Rooms Confectioners and Sausage Shed.
