Nailsea & Backwell Beer & Cider Festival 2018
Nailsea & Backwell Beer & Cider Festival is an annual event that most people from Nailsea and the surrounding area save the date for. It’s a great fundraiser for the event’s chosen charity, and reflects the infectious community spirit Nailsea has to offer.
This year’s event is taking place on Friday 13th – Sunday 15th July 2018 at Nailsea & Backwell Rugby Club.
There are plenty of live music performances and other forms of entertainment to enjoy throughout the weekend, and with over 80 types of beers, 100 types of cider for you to sample (many of which are local brands) and a new Gin Marquee, you’re guaranteed a weekend of fun!
There’s also a Kid’s Village to keep the younger ones entertained. Numerous inflatables, tombola stalls and face painting are just a few of the activities children can enjoy whilst at the festival!
The festival’s chosen charity for 2018 is Children’s Hospice South West, a charity who have been caring for children with life-threatening conditions and their families for over 25 years. Since the festival first took place in 2004, thousands of pounds have been raised for various charities, and with the event becoming more and more popular every year, this year’s event is likely to be even more successful.

Advance tickets will be available four weeks before the event from John Browns, Butterfly Travel, Aimee’s Winehouse, Maynews or Nailsea & Backwell Rugby Club. Alternatively, you can pay for entry on the day, but please be aware this will be at an increased price.
