Nailsea District Leg Club – information for April

Nailsea Leg Club drop-in clinic, open to anyone registered with Tyntesfield Medical Group, takes place every Wednesday morning 9.30 – 11.30 at Nailsea Tithe Barn, which is also the home of Nailsea Town Council. Nailsea Town Council have a Face Book page and their Communications & Media Officer, Cathy East, will be posting on this on behalf of the Leg Club, so watch out for photos and snippets!

Wednesday mornings are always busy, Pat and Malcolm Hunt from Nailsea Community Christmas Float recently came to present £200.00, which was gratefully received for our funds. Sally Kingston from Age UK also visited on the same day. She provides invaluable advice on fitness which she can give to our members on a one-to-one basis as she talks around the refreshment tables. Chris Coppin often comes to play the piano, and it’s nice to listen to his accomplished playing in the background, sometimes undertaking requests!

Saturday morning 18 May is the date of the handbag stall to be held outside Waitrose. Lots of bargains to be had from bags and purses to suitcases. Donations welcome in good clean condition can be taken to 65 High Street.

Any questions about any of the above please call Carole Brooke on 07954 302498.
