North Somerset Council’s Carbon Neutral Commitment

North Somerset Council has committed to becoming carbon neutral by 2030. In order to achieve this goal, North Somerset Council are exploring the generation and use of renewable energy in the local area.

The workshop will give the Council an insight into the views of the community and shape future policies. At the workshop, three key questions will be considered:

  • Could your community get more of its energy from renewable sources?
  • What types of renewable energy might be acceptable in your area and where?
  • How could energy saving contribute?
