Nailsea Shedders Donate Cabinet to Children’s Hospice South West
Volunteers of Nailsea Shedders, a repair café based at the scout hut on Hannah More Road, have put their craftsmanship to good use by crafting a bespoke cabinet for local charity Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).
The charity, which provide hospice care to children with life-limiting conditions and their families, appealed to Nailsea Shedders for help after their cardboard shelving had collapsed.
The community group were more than happy to help and created a sturdy cabinet able to accommodate the charity’s files.
It wasn’t just Nailsea Shedders who were involved in the project, Thornbury Swing Band also donated the money to cover the cost of materials, with all savings handed over to CHSW as a cash donation.
Nailsea Shedders received a letter from CHSW thanking them for their work in constructing the fantastic new cabinet for their Care Team Office.
