Somerset Farmers’ Market Comes to Nailsea Saturday 17th October
After year-long discussions and planning, the launch date for Somerset Farmers’ Market in Nailsea is confirmed! The market will take place on Saturday 17th October from 9am to 1pm in the High Street!
Somerset Farmers’ Markets are hugely popular monthly events that have been showcasing the best of Somerset farmers’ produce for over 20 years. The group put on 8 markets throughout the month across Somerset – and now Nailsea too!
The organisers are taking measures to keep visitors safe when the market takes place, completing numerous risk assessments and ensuring safe solutions.
There will be an abundance of exciting produce and products to buy from local suppliers, including:
fresh produce from Barley Wood Kitchen Garden
nutritious micro salads from Portishead-based ‘Leafy Greens’
… as well as more unusual Somerset treats!
On top of delicious food and drink, there will be craft traders. A community stall is allocated free of charge to a local community group, with October seeing The British Legion coming along to promote their ‘In Bloom’ poppy event in the lead up to Remembrance Day.
